The Dynamic Duology!

I’ve been getting a few inquiries as to whether the IN THE AFTER series is a trilogy or a duology…and I can finally say, it’s a duology! Why? Well…I kind of tied up all the loose ends with the second book, IN THE END, something I didn’t know I was going to do until after I wrote the book. I could have maybe broken that book into two, but than the plot wouldn’t have flowed as well and the books would have dragged. A duology was the right way to go.

So what’s next? I’ll be working on a stand alone. No, I can’t say what it will be about or the title…it’s way too soon! I have to say, as much as I love love love the IN THE AFTER world, it will be fun to start work on an unrelated project.

Back Wednesday!

  1. YAY! Duology sounds good enough as long as there are more Demitria Lunetta books coming!

Can't wait for In The End!!

  2. The YA genre is full of trilogies anymore, so I like how In the After will break the mold by being a duology!

  3. I don't recall duology being used as a term before!

  4. Looking forward to reading In the End. I think that each book or series should be allowed to flow the way it's meant to, without forcing it into a trilogy or a series of seven.

  5. Good luck with the standalone! And thank you for not forcing a sequel to stretch itself out too much. That's one of my pet peeves. :)

  6. Just finished In The After 10 minutes ago and frikin loved it. I'm a big reader, but not many books keep me so enthralled that I read them in one sitting cover to cover (blew off work for a day to do it to).

Anyway, came right here to find out if there was going to be another book and behold.. there is. I can't wait to see how it ends.

    Thanks for the great read!
